4th Quarter 2014 UPDATES

Ps 130:7

O Israel, put your hope in the Lord, because with the Lord there is mercy and with Him there is unlimited forgiveness. GWT

Have you ever thought that some of your sin can't be forgiven? Ps 130:7 should change those thoughts. We are abundantly forgiven.

We have been praying how we can use what we have to help ourselves financially. We have land. During summer school one of the fathers, Trevor, pictured at left, and I "connected".

He is a very good farmer, and he said he would like to help with farming. I really felt it was the Lord answering our prayers. As you can see from these few pictures at left, vegetables are growing very well. By mid -November we should have tomatoes, cabbage, string beans, okra, dasheen, pumpkin & cucumbers, both to eat and to sell.

The next step toward our goal is to cleanup, prune, spray & trunk paint our orange grove. All the orange groves in our area have been blighted with a disease. They now have available a "disease killing" spray for use. We should gradually see the orange grove restored. Two items are needed to accomplish this task: a new 16" Stihl chainsaw and the spray & paint. Chainsaw has been bought, thank the Lord!

Item Cost
2 Red Pole Cows US$800.00
Spray 65.00
Trunk Paint 15.00
TOTAL 875.00

When a giant looms in your path, what is your perspective? Do you face your Goliath at ground level, where it fills your visionary screen and creates fear, doubt, and crippling intimidation? Or do you rise up and look at it from God's view? That would be comparable to looking at the same giant from the top of the new world trade center's spire. You would need binoculars to find it - a moveable, already defeated obstacle in yours and God's path. He longs to fight the battle for you if you would only see who and whose you are.

"Moments with the King", an invitational for women in ministry, under New Beginnings' umbrella, sponsored a retreat for women pastors and pastors' wives Sept. 26-28 at Pimento Hill House in Montego Bay. Mary and our Jamaican pastor, Dr. Joye Keane, co-hosted the event. The theme, "Together...With Him...We are Strong", resonated throughout the time as the ladies connected through fellowship, worship, prayer, fun, heart to heart sharing, and the Word. All of the ladies in attendance experienced God's touch in some way, and returned, empowered and refreshed, to their respective churches Sunday morning. We give a big thank you to the villa's owner and her staff for the beautiful setting and service and to the donors who made the weekend a tremendous success with their financial support.

You can help us with a donation, either at our web site or by mailing your donation to our stateside address above. Either way you will get a tax-deductible receipt. If in Jamaica, just give us a call for pick up, 876-361-3822 or 876-875-4381.

Respect & Love to you,

Bob, Mary, Staff & Students
